Happy New Year! National Treasure

Happy New Year, Everyone!!! I just saw National Treasure: Book of Secrets. Awesome movie! I think I liked it even more than the the first film. If you like history, puzzles and suspense, and especially if you are a fan of the first movie, you won't be disappointed by Book of Secrets. I can't wait to see the next installment in this series (I assume there is one from the bit of a cliffhanger left at the end.) Terrific adventure and a great movie to start 2008!

Saw that at Christmas. Josh says you won't like it as much if you really like history. I'm terrible at remembering dates/facts so I loved the movie! I want furniture with secret compartments now. Cage has the best speaking voice too. He should narrate books on tape.

Oh, that is a good idea! He should definitely do audio books. Who can we write to and recommend that?! I would buy all the books he reads!

I thought this movie was a LOT like the first movie. I undersatand that it is supposed to be the same, but it seemed exactly alike. I really enjoyed the first one, but was disappointed with so MANY similarities in the second. However, I do want to know what is on p.47 of the President's book.

I don't know, Irishman. I mean I expected it to be similar, and it was, but I guess that's what most people kind of want these days...a little bit of something they can rely on to be good so they know they're guaranteed satisfying entertainment in this ever changing world. And the producers probably knew they would be guaranteed more tickets sales if they pandered audiences with a different take on their first set of wild adventures.

I, too, am curious about the elusive page 47. Oooo.
